Postnord — a neologism reflecting the limitations of intellectual comprehension, encloses a collection of works blurring both form and abstraction. From figurative explorations of unity and connectedness to neo-absurdist reflections on the boundary between self and other, inner and outer, we are invited into a series of moments which are as serious as they are light. True contemporaneity offers freedom from pre-existing artistic lexicons, where art reflects not movement or genre, but truly individual modes of experiencing.\n\nAmid the saturation of images and endless references, one may either retreat to tradition or embrace the spontaneity of free-flowing imagination. Postnord, a concept as ungraspable as it is endearing, reflects the anti-intellectualism of the modern condition — no longer a deconstructionist retaliation, but a return to authenticity, innocence, and naivety.\n\nWhere joke and reality converge, we become unable to distinguish between the two. Attempts to grasp at clear answers to fundamental questions are always frustrated. Everything is as it appears, but we cannot quite make out what that is.\n\nAs artists tire of making statements in a landscape polluted by unrecognisable simulacra, a new sensibility emerges. It is not a statement. Nor is it a non-statement, for that would just be another statement. It’s just POSTNORD!\n\nDon’t overthink it.\n\n
